Stars & Subscription Service Rules

1. Stars & Service Description

Use "Stars" to power your AI detections and content optimizations.

Detection: 0.1 Star per 2,000 words (usage is rounded up to the nearest 2,000-word increment).
Optimization: 1 Star per 2,000 words (usage is rounded up to the nearest 2,000-word increment).
Terms: Stars are virtual credits used exclusively for on-platform services. They are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash or refunded.

2. Monthly Subscription Plans (Tax Excluded)

20 Stars/month: $2.99/month (Tax Excluded)
100 Stars/month: $9.99/month (Tax Excluded)
400 Stars/month: $39.99/month (Tax Excluded)

Stars are automatically issued each month. Subscription Stars are valid for the current month only; unused portions do not carry over to the next month.

3. Star Validity Rules

Stars from different sources have different validity periods:

Registration reward stars: Never expire and remain valid permanently;
Invitation reward stars: Never expire and remain valid permanently;
Subscription stars: Valid for the current month only, expire at the end of the month with no carry-over;
Stars are consumed on an earliest-expiring-first basis, so subscription stars are used before permanent reward stars.

4. Subscription Upgrade Rules

Users can upgrade to a higher-tier subscription at any time:

Upgrade takes effect immediately with new tier benefits;
The system automatically calculates and charges the price difference (calculated based on tax-excluded prices):

Prorated Charge = (New Plan Price − Current Plan Price) × Remaining Days ÷ Total Days in Billing Cycle

The difference is settled by Creem as a one-time payment, and the upgrade takes effect after payment is complete (actual payment amount may include applicable taxes, as shown on the checkout page).

5. Subscription Downgrade & Cancellation Rules

Users reserve the right to downgrade their subscription or terminate auto-renewal at any time.

After downgrade or cancellation, current subscription benefits remain valid until the end of the current billing cycle.
The new tier or cancellation status takes effect at the commencement of the subsequent billing period.
Paid fees for the current period (tax-excluded portion) are non-refundable and are not eligible for pro-rata credit or reimbursement.

6. Star Consumption Order

Priority consumption: Stars expiring earliest
Subscription Stars are valid within their period and expire at the end of the period

7. Payment & Renewal

All payments, renewals, and difference charges are processed by Creem as the Merchant of Record.
All plan prices in these terms are tax-excluded. Actual payment amounts may include VAT or regional taxes, as shown on the checkout page.

8. Refund Policy

Once the subscription service is activated and Stars are issued, fees for the active period are non-refundable;
EU users may request a refund within the 14-day cooling-off period, provided no Stars have been used; refund covers the full amount paid (including tax).
Refunds will not be issued for issues arising from personal device, network, or usage environment problems;
All refund requests are reviewed by Creem and returned via the original payment method for the full amount paid (including tax).

9. Price Adjustments

The operator reserves the right to adjust tax-excluded plan prices.

Price adjustments do not affect active subscriptions. New subscriptions and renewals will be charged at the updated tax-excluded prices; actual payment amounts include applicable taxes.
